Yes! We see people whose family history indicates there may be an increased risk of cancer, whether they have had cancer themselves or not.
Genetic testing can also be offered to people who have not had cancer.
While it usually provides more accurate information if the youngest affected person in the family, or the person with the rarest cancer, is tested first, sometimes this just isn't possible.
